Pierce County Hosts Two Additional

As part of creating a geography network for government agencies and departments, Pierce County has selected Cevian Technologies to provide the infrastructure to host PC First Source and PC Parks Place, their new GIS-based websites. PC First Source is a human services web site that has been a cooperative effort between United Way of Pierce County, YWCA, Commission Against Domestic Violence, Pierce County Youth Council, Juvenile Court and the Health department. PC Parks Place takes advantage of a common database of all park information. The added benefit of a unified database provides for a powerful website, complete with mapping component.
